At Le Garage, we’re proud of our location.

Not only does it make us the number one choice for Fed Square parking; it also means we’re able to keep our fingers firmly on the pulse of what’s going on around Melbourne.

And speaking of Fed Square parking, not a month goes by without some sort of exciting event happening on its premises.

This April is no exception – and with school holidays well underway, there’s no shortage of events you can take the kids to in the coming weeks!

Need ideas for school holidays?

While most of us begrudgingly return to work after the Easter break, our kids are actually fortunate enough to get a whole two weeks of holiday on top of the break.

And with the weather yet to turn, there’s no excuse for not taking the kids out on these last couple of weeks before winter makes its return.

Drop your car off at Le Garage and check out all of these fantastic events going on in Fed Square these school holidays!

Kid-friendly comedy

  • When: 28th March – 22nd April
  • Where: Federation Square Main Stage

If you’ve been to the city at all during the last couple of weeks, you’ll no doubt have seen the distinct purple posters promoting the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

While many of us associate the Comedy Festival with stand-ups telling raunchy jokes in dimly-lit hole-in-the-wall theatres, it also plays host to several family-friendly acts.

Throughout April, Fed Square plays host to a number of family-friendly comedy acts from around the world.

From slapstick to death-defying acrobatics and hilarious stage shows, there’s plenty of kid-friendly laughs to be had this April.

Best of all, it’s 100% free! Just leave your car with Le Garage and enjoy an afternoon full of belly laughs and happy kids.

Avengers, assemble!

  • When: 15th March – 30th June
  • Where: The Paddock at Fed Square

This one’s already been running for a few weeks, but with the third Avengers movie (fourth if you count Civil War) landing in cinemas at the end of April, there’s no better time to check out this exciting exhibit!

A mix of museum and theme park, the Avengers STATION lets kids get up close and personal with props and costumes used in the filming of Marvel’s superhero saga.

Best of all, it also helps build an understanding of the underlying science and technology that power their favourite superheroes, all in an effort to encourage kids to consider STEM pathways.

Whether you’re a fan of the movies or want an excuse to get your kids into science, this show is not to be missed! It runs until the end of June.

And for the adults…

Don’t worry, there’s plenty going on a Fed Square for the adults too!

Law Orchestra

  • When: Saturday 14th April
  • Where: Deakin Edge Theatre

While it may sound like the setup to a bad joke, these talented lawyers are anything but.

Made up of legal professionals from Melbourne’s prestigious law firms, aspiring law students and barristers, the Melbourne Lawyers’ Orchestra offers a truly unique musical experience, to say the least!

Featuring a repertoire that pulls from modern classical, to jazz and even Broadway, there’s something for everyone here.

Artisan gifts and food at Markit + Bakesale

  • When: Sunday 22nd April
  • Where: Deakin Edge Theatre

Combining the eclectic mix of homemade stuff you’d find at a street markets with the atmosphere of a bustling strip of a food market, and you get this unique event!

Combining artisan knick-knacks with delicious home baked food, Markit + BakeSale is a one-day extravaganza of the weird, wacky and fun.

Pop down to Fed Square to experience some of Melbourne’s best independent designers and local foodie icons, all under a single roof.
