Skegss are an Aussie trio formed in Byron Bay in 2013.

Combination upbeat surf rock with the unpolished rawness of garage rock (talk about a unique combo!), this is a group you’ll want to keep your eye on.

These homegrown boys have everything to be proud of following the smash success of their debut album My Own Mess with its new single and video Road Trip

With their uniquely casual and laid-back sound, it’s no wonder that this group is starting to see some serious success, with previous songs like Up in the Clouds, Smogged Out, Stop, and My Own Mess making real waves on Triple J.

And this July is your chance to catch them live at the Forum Theatre, where they’ll be joined by comedian Aaron Gocs, as well as fellow musicians Totty and Mini Skirt

Explore new sounds with James Blake

  • When: Friday 19th July and Saturday 20th July

Prefer something more low-key this winter? Are you a soul or R&B lover?

We’ve got great news: James Blake is in town!

Hot off the success of his most recent album Assume Form and a 2016 collab with Queen Bey herself, Blake is a hot property right now.

Combining the sounds of R&B and soul with chill electronic beats (as well as a fantastic, rich voice), Blake certainly brings a unique sound to the table – we’re sensing a bit of trend this month!

While certainly out of left field, James Blake is at the peak of his career, blending genres together to create a remarkable new sound.

If you want to catch James Blake live, you’ll want to get a move on – tickets are selling fast!

Chill out with Tycho

Exams are over – for now, at least. Finally, you can relax and (temporarily) retire your study playlist.

But what if you don’t want to stop listening? Perhaps you’re one of the millions who stumbled upon one of those livestreams broadcasting 24/7 chill, lofi hip hop study beats.

And maybe you liked it, and want more!

Enter, Tycho.

If you’ve never heard of the American musician (real name Scott Hansen), just imagine one of those study playlists, but turned into a professional musical career and you essentially have Tycho’s sound!

Taking inspiration by a range of human elements, as well as vintage sound clips and a dash of 80’s electropop, Tycho’s unique style has earned him fans from all over.

It’s also earned him professional recognition in the form of a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/ Electronic Album in 2017 for his 2016 album Epoch.

With the support of a live backing band, this show is one you won’t want to miss – click here to buy your tickets.
